STCHS Field Trips

Science Field Trip

The Freshman class learned about science at the California Academy of Sciences, in the San Francisco Golden Gate Park, as they visited the California Academy of Sciences—a place of wonder and discovery. They explored the Steinhart Aquarium, where venomous creatures swam. The Morrison Planetarium took them on cosmic journeys. In the Osher Rainforest, they stepped into a tropical jungle. The Kimball Natural History Museum revealed dinosaur skeletons and ancient fossils. Lunchtime in the East Garden brought camaraderie. And as the sun set, they dreamed of dancing under the museum’s giant blue whale.
