Athletics
Sherman Thomas Charter Elementary School participates in the Madera Unified League of Elementary Schools (M.U.L.E.S.), offering six seasons of team sports for elementary students: Wrestling, Basketball, Volleyball & Cross Country, Track & Field, Flag Football & Cheer, and Soccer.
Academic Competitions
Sherman Thomas Charter Elementary School students also compete in two Madera County Superintendent of Schools academic events: Battle of the Books, a reading competition for grades 3-8, and the Academic Pentathlon, a middle school academic competition for grades 7-8.
